Paulette Clayton
Hi my name is Paulette Clayton. I met Andrew roughly 18 months ago. I used to weigh 150kgs and my lifestyle was beyond awful. I drank too much, ate too much, and basically felt like a piece if shit.
So then I come across Andrew. He starts making a small change here and a small change there, explaining that big change comes from consistent small gestures, not grand ones. He didn't bat an eyelid at the scales and just got down to helping and supporting me.
Gradually we start to come down on the scales, bit by bet setting small goals of 10kg sometimes 5kgs at a time. As soon as I started I began to feel fitter and stronger and each small goal made the next step that bit closer.
We celebrated each small achievement but he wouldn’t let me take my eye off the bigger picture. To be honest that hasn’t changed to this date we still set goals and have more to achieve. My mindset has changed completely and I can confidently say that the person I was will never resurface, I’m a changed person.
I now weigh 80kgs and feel fantastic, strong and healthy. It's pretty cool! It's a lot of hard work and sweat but I had Andrew's support and guidance the whole way. He never judged me, just taught me to train right. He's loads of fun and always has something funny to say while remaining professional and supportive. He's managed to build a great friendly culture and I consider him and the other people he trains like family. I've now set my sights on running an ultra-marathon! If you're thinking about training with Andrew, do it, it'll be the best thing you do.

I came to see Andrew having been told that he was good with rehab coaching. I wanted to get back to training again after having disc and vertabrae issues with my back which prevented me from training and saw my weight blow out to 103kg.
He explained that movements id been told to avoid could actually help (if done properly) and that there was plenty of ways to work with and around existing injuries. Basically there had been no need for me to stop and get fat!
He seriously knows this stuff and that’s how we started. Since then we have been training regularly (at least twice per week) and I’m the fittest and strongest I’ve ever been. He helped me to set up amazing food and lifestyle habits too. He looks at what I do, how I live and shows me what habits, what foods and what training might work for me. Then he gets me to try applying those habits and through trial and error we developed a system that has seen me at my best consistently and getting better for well over a year now. We do whatever training suits the goal too, strength, conditioning , cardio, HIIT, whatever it takes he knows it all and integrates everything. That’s why he’s my coach quite simply, anyone can train you but the systems he sets up plus his coaching knowledge gets the results!

I met Andrew soon after moving back to Sydney from the US. I had been training there at a gym with some really good strength coaches and had gotten some good results. I tried to find a coach that could continue my progress and came across Andrew. We started training and he said that I was strong and in good shape but also said that I had a lazy arse… on my first day!!! I was very proud of my 70kg deadlift being then 55 years old and weighing 56kg. Andrew explained that we could build on the previous progress but first we had to take a couple of steps back in order to move forward. I trusted him, I’m not sure why, but I did.
Andrew went about reconstructing my movements so I wouldn’t injure myself and explained that this was the only way to truly get stronger. Not long in I could lift 80kg, then 90, 100-110-120 and I’m currently lifting 130kg. I’m 57 years old, weigh 56kg and I can pull 130kg off the floor it feels FANTASTIC! I tell everyone of my friends that if you want to feel young and look good this truly is the way forward.
You need to come and meet this man because if he can help you (and I’m sure he can) then you will never look back!

I neglected my fitness for a few years – struggling with a busy work schedule and becoming a Father. Things came to a head during the lockdown as I hit 125kg. Previously I had been athletic and thought I knew how to get myself into shape. I came to accept my life was different now and that I needed someone to help me reset. Andrew didn’t introduce some extreme diet or come in with an aggressive alpha trainer regime. He took a much more considered approach and came up with a sustainable plan that took into account all my commitments. It’s definitely not a one-size-fits-all way of working. Andrew adapts my plan as I get fitter but also in response to things like a busy work week or if I’m on holiday and just based on what he is seeing from my body on any given day.
Andrew has transformed me physically (Down 10k in 3 months) but even more importantly he has given me holistic principles and ways to think about staying in shape so I can lead a healthier life long-term. He’s completely opened my eyes to the benefits of lifting heavyweights.
I am now stronger, leaner, happier and sleeping better. I feel more present with my family and more focused at work. I haven't radically changed my diet but find myself instinctually making healthier food choices. If feels like a very solid foundation and I’m super excited to see what else we can achieve together.
